SOLEIL SMITHBERG

Soleil (pronounced so-lay) began her journey of content creation by unveiling her first YouTube channel at the age of 10. Like many Gen Z kids, Soleil grew up on the internet - which was both a blessing and a curse.

With the internet came YouTube. Soleil became fascinated with YouTube watching creators such as PewDiePie and Smosh on a daily basis. She was, quite literally, obsessed. From this obsession came a video production hobby. After many cringe-worthy video projects, Soleil attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln (GBRRR) as an Advertising and Public Relations Major lazerfocused on the art of video production.

It wasn’t until her junior year of college that Soleil discovered the world of Motion Design. She learned mograph with the help of some great mentors (thx Colby) and worked hard to develop her skills.

Combining illustration and motion pictures is Soleil’s favorite form of creative media. She loves how motion design projects “tickle her brain” and satisfy her artistic capabilities. Her personal style is eclectic, colorful, and organic.

In her free time, she loves to game (thanks PewDiePie), and eat sushi and Indian food.
